False cards for citizenship income, 20 complaints in Olbia
Operation of the carabinieri and the inspectorate, they are all foreigners
Over 180 thousand euros in two years as citizenship income, but without being entitled to it. 20 people were discovered and reported by the Carabinieri of the Operational Section of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Territorial Department of Olbia , with the collaboration of colleagues from the Sassari Labor Inspectorate Nucleus.
The survey involved 90 recipients of the benefit, all foreigners and residents of the Gallura town. Once the documentation was examined, it was ascertained that 20 practices were irregular as they contained bogus data , artfully declared to be able to pocket the citizenship income.
According to the carabinieri, those reported since 2019 have illegally received over 180,000 euros to the detriment of the state.
