Falls from a bridge on the 387 in San Vito: a girl seriously injured

A 28-year-old housewife is hospitalized in serious conditions after falling from a bridge on State Road 387, in the San Vito area.
The accident occurred around 1.30pm, at kilometre 89.200.
According to an initial reconstruction, the girl was traveling in the direction of Muravera–San Vito when she suddenly lost control of the vehicle. The car crashed into the side guard rail, broke through it and fell down.
The rescue was prompt: the driver, a resident in the area, conscious but in serious condition, was transported in red code to San Marcellino di Muravera. Her life is not in danger.
The Carabinieri of the San Vito station and the Radiomobile Unit intervened on site to carry out the necessary surveys and investigations.
The road section was made safe by Anas staff, who managed the traffic and checked the infrastructural conditions of the bridge.
