Explosion due to a gas leak, fear in Carbonia

A gas leak caused an explosion inside a basement between via Ala italiana and viale Trieste. The detonation broke the door of the room: the splinters escaping from the room hit a nearby garage and the windows of an overlooking building.

The firefighters responded to the scene. Luckily no injuries were reported, just a great scare at what happened.

The firefighters will carry out further checks to assess the safety of the environments.
