The exhibition “NaturArt – put out the fire, rekindle hope” is an event organized by the Environment and Public Green Sector in collaboration with the environmental educators of the Ceas Lago Baratz of the Municipality of Sassari and the “Filippo Figari” art high school. The exhibition will be inaugurated in the Tavolara Pavilion on May 28th and will remain open until June 9th. It will be open to visitors for free from 10am to 1pm and from 5pm to 8pm.

The exhibition is part of the network project, coordinated by the Fo.Re.STAS Agency, "Climate Change and Fire Risk - Emergency Vs Prevention" launched last year and financed by the Sardinia Region as part of the funds allocated to the Centers of accredited Environmental Education.

The objective is to develop and increase the awareness of students and local and non-local communities on the issues of fires (causes, effects and behaviour) and climate change.

The students of the five participating classes (painting, sculpture and graphics) of the 'F. Figari' were involved in information and awareness-raising actions, which took place in school spaces, proposed by the operators of Ceas Lago Baratz, by the Forestry and Environmental Surveillance Corps (CFVA) and Civil Protection, and at the Pabarile Forestry Site on Montiferru where the manager and the staff working in the area welcomed the children and showed the devastating effects of the 2021 fire.
