The town at the foot of Mount Santa Vittoria is being renovated, and it is doing so with a careful eye on its precious natural and archaeological heritage. In fact, all the information signs on the noticeboards distributed throughout the area have been replaced, renewed and updated. The operation aims to facilitate the orientation of visitors and make the understanding of the historical and natural heritage of the area more accessible.
Now, tourists who venture along natural paths and archaeological sites will be able to count on clearer and more complete indications for moving around nature and an area rich in peculiarities and history.
"Another important step towards achieving the functionality of the management system of sites of particular importance in the territory," declared enthusiastically the mayor of Esterzili, Renato Melis. "We waited a bit to implement further information compared to the initial setup, but the result is a signage that responds better to the needs of visitors."
The renovation of the noticeboards is an integral part of the Strategic Territorial Plan, which aims to improve the attractiveness and usability of the places of interest in the town of Barbagia di Seulo. A small but significant one that not only enhances the heritage, but also contributes to a more efficient and welcoming management of the ever-growing tourist flows.
