Spectacular rescue operation in the stormy sea carried out during the night by the operators of Aquatica, the marina in the old part of the port of Alghero .

Around 3 in the morning the operations room of the local Circomare received the request for help from an Irish boat in breakdown several miles from the port of Alghero. The position and request for assistance were then communicated to the manager of Aquatica Roberto Costantino who promptly started the rescue operations.

At about 3.30 am the Aquatica rescue boat, led by the owners Roberto Costantino and Fabrizio Goldoni, managed to intercept the boat with two people on board despite the adverse weather conditions with gusts of up to 35 knots and waves of about three meters.

Assisted by the Harbor Master's Office, the difficult rescue operations were carried out which concluded a few hours later with the towing of the boat into the port and its safe mooring at the Sanità quay with the crew, including a greyhound puppy, tried but in good physical condition.
