The State Property Agency puts the Capo Comino lighthouse and service accommodation on the market. The asset is no longer useful to the State and the national body, following the "Valore Paese Italia" project - which also involves the Ministry of Defense and associated Spas - has decided to grant the structure on the Siniscola coast a concession.

The announcement was published in mid-December and aspiring managers have until May to submit their proposals.

What can be done is written in the documents: in the more than 8 thousand square meters of area (327 covered), "in an exclusive and uncontaminated position overlooking the sea, albeit served by the road system", it will be possible to develop «tourist-accommodation and other complementary of type: cultural, socio-recreational, sport and wellness, events, research, catering and food and wine, discovery of the territory".

The minimum starting fee on which to make raises is 217 euros. However, the economic offer will be worth just 10 points. The commission will attribute greater weight to the project proposal for reuse, which "should be in line with the general principles of the project and with the reference context and represent the new functions (tourist reception associated with social, recreational, cultural, sporting, discovery of the territory and promotion of local products”.

The parameters linked to the eco-sustainability of the redevelopment are also significant. The property will be assigned for a period ranging from 6 to 50 years.
