In just one weekend, Sardinia was freed from 12,435 kilos of plastic and waste dispersed in the environment.

This is the exceptional result achieved by Plastic Free Onlus , a voluntary organization committed to combating plastic pollution since 2019, in the 17 environmental cleaning appointments held simultaneously on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate "World Earth Day".

The initiative has also actively involved ten Italian universities and has the support of MINI . The weekend dedicated to the Earth will have a further charitable purpose with the planting of trees thanks to the collaboration with the media partner Treedom, the first site in the world that allows you to plant a tree remotely and follow the history of the agroforestry project it will give life to.
