A weekend that tastes like summer that started today. High temperatures were recorded throughout Italy, and in Sardinia the column, in the internal areas, even reached 30 degrees.

Lots of swimmers and first dives on the beach. Many establishments were not yet ready and are currently setting up the sunbeds, but for many there was a large turnout. Those who didn't want to swim took advantage of the weather to sunbathe and have lunch on the coast.

And tomorrow too it is expected to be almost sold out, to the satisfaction of the beach operators who had complained about a "lean" Easter.

However, the anomalous climate also brings great concerns because in these first months of 2024 only a fifth of the precipitation fell compared to seasonal averages.

In short, the anticyclone is the protagonist of this weekend but, meteorologists warn, an arctic air front is expected from Monday which will lower temperatures by up to 15 degrees. Some rain will stop in Sardinia between Tuesday and Wednesday.
