Drought in Sardinia, Arpas: «Little rain in the last 4 months». Campaigns on their knees, Coldiretti calls for a state of calamity

In Sardinia there is a drought emergency , with autumn and winter among the least rainy in recent years.

The data processed by Arpas, as Alessandro Delitala, director of the Arpas meteorological service, explains: « In the last 4 months, it has rained a few times and only in some areas, little rain in the eastern and southern part of the island ».

Above all, the countryside is suffering the most from the lack of water, already bent by a scorching summer, with farmers and breeders on their knees.
And the general director of Coldiretti Sardinia Luca Saba launches the cry of alarm from the agro-pastoral world: «We ask for a state of calamity for the island's countryside» .
In the next few days the Arpas forecasts announce a change in climate, in particular a disturbance is arriving on Friday, which will also bring some precipitation next week .
