Disappeared in Olbia: divers search for Rosa Bechere's body in the sea

The divers team of the Coast Guard, which is based in Cagliari, operated in the "Mogadishu" area, in the dock not far from via Aretino, where the home of Maria Giovanna Meloni and Giorgio Beccu is located, the couple under investigation by the Prosecutor of Tempio Pausanias for the disappearance, possible murder and concealment of Bechere's body. Today the searches have not given any results but will resume tomorrow.
In the meantime, the interrogation of the two suspects is underway in the Olbia carabinieri barracks who, assisted by the lawyer Giampaolo Murrighile, continue to declare themselves innocent.
According to the investigators, the two may have taken advantage of Rosa Bechere's state of disability, administering massive doses of drugs and taking possession of the few savings and postal cards on which her basic income was credited.
In recent days, the carabinieri have seized documents, medicines and various objects from the two houses in use in Meloni and Beccu, in Olbia and Monti.
