First the funeral, then the seizure of the body and the autopsy. The Nuoro Prosecutor's Office has seized the body of Sandro Delrio, the 58-year-old ASL auxiliary who died during a soccer match with friends on the afternoon of December 28th.

The drama occurred around 5pm on the outdoor pitch of the Polivalente gym. The seizure of the body took place immediately after the funeral which took place on December 30th, the medical examiner Matteo Nioi, appointed by the magistrate, carried out the autopsy examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.

This was urged by Delrio's family and wife, Sabrina Lunesu, nurse and mother of two children, Marco and Andrea, to rule out hereditary pathologies. In fact, the man was in perfect health, an assiduous blood donor, accustomed to effort. He was constantly monitored for work and had recently obtained the certificate of suitability.

A file has been opened on the matter, which currently sees the manager of the sports club that manages the municipal facility (and who was out of town at the time of the tragedy) and a collaborator under investigation. The correctness of the safety equipment of the sports facility is verified.
