Three people were indicted in Cagliari, in relation to the accident at work that cost the life of Claudio Milia, the 45-year-old from Iglesias who died a year ago.
The defendants, the client of the intervention, the victim's employer and an employee of the other company operating on the site, will appear in the courtroom on 6 May 2022.

On November 13 of last year, around 8.15 in the morning, in the Sa Stoia industrial area of Iglesias, Claudio Milia was working as a carpenter for CQ NOL Srl, a company that carries out industrial cleaning, rental of industrial and construction site vehicles, production, installation and maintenance of metal carpentry works and maintenance of systems in general, and had gone up to the shed of the company LO.CI Trasporti Srl to check its coverage in view of some renovation works of the left span of the building that had been entrusted to the company of which he was employed.
Suddenly, the roof gave way under his weight and the 45-year-old had fallen from a height of 4.20 meters; a fall that had caused him too severe polytrauma and then fatal results.
The Public Prosecutor of Cagliari had opened a file with the hypothesis of the crime of manslaughter with the aggravating circumstance of having been committed in violation of accident prevention regulations.
