Desulo, they were growing marijuana: two brothers arrested

They were growing over one hundred Indian hemp plants inside a sheepfold, in the countryside of Desulo, in the locality of “Pira e Pane” . For this reason, two brothers, local farmers aged 46 and 55, both with criminal records, were arrested by the Carabinieri.
The operation was conducted by the military of the Desulo Station, with the support of colleagues from Sorgono and Gadoni. During the search, the carabinieri discovered 108 marijuana plants, grown in phytocells and already in the growth phase, with a height of between 10 and 15 centimeters.
The investigation activities continued also in the houses of the two, where 10 illegally held 12-gauge cartridges were found . All the material was seized.
The two men were initially placed under house arrest, but after the validation hearing, the judge ordered both of them to remain in the municipality of Desulo and to report daily to the judicial police.
