Decimomannu: a paper bomb destroys the door of the police station
We are investigating at 360 degrees: the country is home to the air base contested by the anti-militarists and a month and a half ago there were clashes with the police during a demonstration

Attack on the Decimomannu carabinieri barracks during the night.
Around 3 a.m. a paper bomb exploded on the barracks door. The bomb, packed with gunpowder, which is usually used for New Year's barrels, destroyed the door, causing minor damage to the inside of the structure.
Investigations are underway to trace those responsible and understand the reasons, also because Decimomannu is the site of the air base contested by the Sardinian anti-militarists . On April 28, during a march of pacifists around the base, there was tension between demonstrators and the forces of order .
So far no claims have been received, a 360-degree investigation is underway and it is not excluded that it is a warning gesture for some trivial episode of common crime.
The Sardinian deputy of the Lega Dario Giagoni also expressed his opinion on the matter: «I express all my solidarity and absolute closeness to the Carabinieri of Decimomannu. A shameful act that deserves harsh condemnation and that demonstrates once again how important it is to never let your guard down in the fight against all forms of crime".
"Our women and our men - continues Giagoni -, who are engaged in the area every day, serving the community with self-sacrifice and determination, will not be intimidated by such a gesture".
Solidarity with the Arma also from the president of the regional council Michele Pais, worried "for the escalation of violence that once again affects the forces of order" .
«Tonight's act – continues Pais – is the expression of an anti-democratic arrogance that would like to destabilize an entire community . But similar acts will succeed in further strengthening that relationship of collaboration and trust with the institutions".
“The state does not back down in the face of threats. No step back, let's move forward for legality and democracy. Solidarity and closeness to the Arma dei Carabinieri for what happened in Decimomannu» wrote the Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto in a tweet.
«I extend my solidarity and closeness to the Commander General Teo Luzi, to the leaders of the Arma and to all the carabinieri for the disturbing attack that took place during the night against the Decimomannu barracks. This is a serious episode but I am sure it will not affect the steadfastness and courage that our soldiers demonstrate every day in tackling crime and in guaranteeing greater security for citizens", commented the President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa .
