A circular asking all the mayors of the Province of Nuoro to carry out a detailed reconnaissance of abandoned artefacts, in order to make them safe through the tools provided for by current legislation. It is the one sent by the prefect of Nuoro Giancarlo Dionisi after the tragic accident that cost the lives of two very young people from Nuoro , Patrick Zola and Ythan Romano.

Dionisi has convened a permanent technical table in the Prefecture for Wednesday 17 April, in which the mayor of Nuoro, the presidents of the Unions of Municipalities and Mountain Communities of the Nuoro area, the provincial commander of the Fire Brigade, the director of the Civil Engineering Service of Nuoro and the president of the Order of Engineers.

«I would like to set up - Dionisi specified - a real operational task force made up of a member of the local technical office of the municipalities gradually interested and a representative, respectively, of the national Fire Brigade, of the Order of Engineers and of the Civil Engineering Service, who will be involved in the territory in mapping the ruins and their relative state of danger". «The abandonment of buildings is one of the most negative consequences of the progressive depopulation we are witnessing in this province, in particular, and in Sardinia, in general. I also hope for the collaboration of the Region and the competent state bodies to identify the necessary financing lines to make our territory safer and more usable."
