The data of cell phones under the lens of the investigators who investigate the death of Antonio Masia , the deceased worker, according to the autopsy, following the impact with a machine in the Gesam waste treatment company in Sassari.

The prosecutor today assigned the task to the experts who will have to analyze the smartphones seized from the 35 employees , to try to extract useful information for investigations.

The analyzes will be carried out by Giovanni Saba and Marco Partolino , both from Cagliari.

A biased consultant was also appointed by the lawyer Daniele Alicicco , who represents the victim's family.

Two other experts, Giancarlo Rosa and Filippo Vignini , were instead appointed by Gesam, represented by the lawyer Nicola Lucchi .

Pierfrancesco Cherchi , on the other hand, the lawyer who defends the victim's colleague, Fabiano Mario Saba , under investigation for the death of Masia (the crime hypotheses are manslaughter, body hiding, arson and environmental pollution ), reserved the right to appoint an expert before 26 September.

Antonio Masia's body was hidden in the Gesam warehouses and found at the end of the evening of 25 July by colleagues and family members worried about his disappearance. Initially it was thought of an illness, but to shed light, the Sassari Prosecutor's Office then turned on its headlights, assuming a very different scenario.

On 6 August, immediately after an inspection of the Gesam plant by the inspectors of the Sassari Mobile Squad, an arson fire had completely destroyed the structure .

A fire, investigators speculate, set to hide the evidence of the fatal accident at work.
