An insight into the phenomenon emerged in the seminar organized by the Rotary Club Carbonia, dedicated to " Real life and virtual life ", and capable of bringing together experts of various kinds such as the Police Commissioner Gabriela Comi, the commander of the Carabinieri Company Enrico Santurri, the herself the president of Rotary and psychotherapist Maria Mameli, the pedagogist Giorgia Potenza, the director of Unieuro Carbonia Luca Grussu, the psychotherapists Moreno Murgia, Angela Quaquero and Ofelia Muscu, the assistant of the Serd Annalisa Maccioni.

The presence of a network made up of educators, schools, social forces and law enforcement allows the territory to keep the phenomenon of cyberbullying relatively under control (but there is no shortage of cases).

The risk assessment and reflections on prevention have also focused to a particular extent on social media addiction which, however, goes beyond the risks to the mental health of children because adults are also completely overwhelmed by this type of new addictions.
