Condolences on the occasion of Armed Forces Day, with the ceremony which this year took place exceptionally on the island: «I am convinced that celebrating National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day together is important and a duty towards the our sailors, soldiers, airmen, carabinieri, financiers, especially those who have sacrificed their lives or who bear the signs of their service to the State on their skin."

«May I be granted a passage in this land – continues Crosetto – to greet the last of our people who left us: a Sardinian soldier, Claudio Cadeddu, and I think it is right to send the embrace of all of us to his 9-year-old daughter, that hug that her father won't be able to give her." The speech was followed by long and moving applause from those present, who were joined by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.
