Massimiliano Sanna remains in place, at least for now. After a long day in which there were rumors about his imminent resignation, the mayor released a note announcing the opening of a new phase of crisis management.
"At this moment, once again with a sense of responsibility, the mayor considers it a priority to complete the work of the City Council suspended for too long following the crisis and already scheduled for Friday 28 and Monday 31 July", we read. In particular, the mayor underlines that the items on the agenda include the approval of extremely important administrative acts such as the 2022 report, the 2023-2025 budget balances, the ratification of the 2023 budget change, concerning important funding relating to the PNRR and social funds, as well as the approval of the transfer plan for the civic uses of Torre Grande.
"Considering that this last act is considered of extraordinary and fundamental importance, which for decades has had a strategic value for the citizens of Oristano - the press release concludes - he informs that he intends to conclude these important works of the Council at the end of which he will evaluate the most appropriate initiatives aimed at solving the crisis".
