Head-on accident in Porto Torres, two people pulled from the wreckage

Head-on collision between two cars in Via dell'Industria in Porto Torres .

The accident happened last night just before 10pm , Tuesday 6 February, in the intersection near McDonald's.

Two people were injured , the driver and the passenger of one of the cars involved, both rescued by the 118 health workers and transferred to the emergency room of the civil hospital of Sassari. Their conditions do not cause particular concern. The driver of the other car was uninjured.

The impact between the two cars was violent . The cars suffered serious damage.

The firefighters of the local detachment were on site and took steps to extract the two injured people from the cockpit to hand them over to the care of doctors.

The carabinieri of the Porto Torres company were also present for the findings and the dynamics that still need to be reconstructed.
