Macabre discovery in the countryside of Padru, where the lifeless body of a 70-year-old man was found missing since last night.
The old man, born in Santadi, but resident in Assemini, had left the house to go looking for mushrooms, but no trace of him has been lost.
The alarm went off after a few hours, as the man did not give news of himself to his family. Thus began the research conducted by the Alpine Rescue teams and the firefighters. Carabinieri and barracelli are also in action.
The body was found in the Budò area. According to a first hypothesis, the 70-year-old, heart patient, would have ventured along a path, suddenly feeling ill. An illness that, unfortunately, left him no way out.
