Fire halts the train's operations. Following the severe fires that have severely affected Ogliastra, particularly between the municipalities of Arzana and Elini , Arst announces that Sardinia's Trenino Verde train services have been temporarily suspended on the Arbatax-Lanusei route.
The flames caused damage to the infrastructure, necessitating an interruption to ensure the safety of passengers and staff. The regional company has already taken action, and starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st, work to secure and restore the railway line will officially begin .
