The Covid incidence in Sardinia rises to 448.6 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants and remains the highest in Italy . And it also rises in Lazio where the value reaches 406.7.
The data emerge from the table on the decision-making indicators attached to the weekly Iss-Ministry of Health monitoring on the trend of Covid .
Two Regions this week return to exceed the 15% alert threshold for the occupation of ordinary hospital wards by Covid patients. They are Sicily, at 15.5%, and Valle d'Aosta at 15.3%.
THE NATIONAL DATA - The weekly incidence of Covid-19 cases also rises at the national level : 310 per 100,000 inhabitants (10/06/2022 -16/06/2022) against 222 per 100,000 inhabitants last week (03/05 / 2022 -09/06/2022). In the period 25 May - 7 June 2022, the average Rt calculated on symptomatic cases was instead equal to 0.83 (range 0.73-1.18), an increase compared to the previous week when it was equal to 0.75, with a range that exceeds the epidemic threshold.
The employment rate in intensive care of Covid patients drops to 1.9% (daily survey by the Ministry of Health as of June 16) compared to 2.0% on June 9. The employment rate in medical areas on a national level, on the other hand, slightly rises to 6.7% (daily survey by the Ministry of Health as of June 16) compared to 6.6%, again compared with June 9.
