That very long white trail that cuts the brown of the Sinis fields in two, a surreal image from above to be framed, this time it will follow the reverse path. Today is the day of the last effort . Shortly before sunset, the simulacrum of San Salvatore will return home, escorted by its 900 men dressed in white . The barefoot people will leave the ancient rural village of Sinis around 6.30 pm, after the traditional mass inside the small church.

Barefoot , with their white habit, they will cross the same route on Saturday morning: eight kilometers on foot through dirt roads, wrapped in clouds of dust and with the simulacrum on their shoulders. To welcome them as always there will be an immense crowd of faithful and tourists . And joy will explode once again: one faith, one heart.

Tomorrow morning will be barefoot day . At dawn, 300 women dressed in their traditional attire and praying, will tread the same route to carry the statue of Santu Srabadoeddu from the village to the church of Cabras. And only then will silence fall again in the ancient village of Sinis. Looking forward to another year of celebration, joy and devotion for the Saint of the Cabraresi.
