Marco Pili, collaborator of the regional councilor of the Mixed group, Valerio De Giorgi , 57, ended up under house arrest - like the politician - on the precautionary custody order of the investigating judge of the Cagliari court, made it known Altieri.

For both the accusation is of attempted fraud in the context of an investigation that sees De Giorgi also under investigation for corruption, together with the builder Corrado Deiana - also under arrest at home - and of an exchange vote.

Pili - defended by lawyers Renato Chiesa and Pierandrea Setzu - and the councilor, according to the prosecutor Giangiacomo Pilia, would have tried to have a regional contribution of 650 thousand euros to the Pro Loco City of Cagliari, founded and controlled - according to the prosecution - directly by De Giorgi through relatives and people very close to him.

The councilor yesterday deserted the guarantee questioning, availing himself of the right not to answer.

According to the prosecutor's objection, the builder, in exchange for an amendment to the law on the house plan, would have given the politician four apartments through the exchange of land belonging to De Giorgi's family.

The entrepreneur presented himself in front of the judge, however asking for brief spontaneous statements: defended by the lawyer Franco Villa, Deiana said that his relations with the regional councilor (former president of the Budget Commission) had the contours of a consultancy, pointing out that he was acting to protect the interests of construction companies. As for the exchange, he said it was perfectly in line with the mechanisms of the market, so much so that it was also included in the bank's financial plan.

The investigation by the Prosecutor's Office - conducted by the military of the Economic-Financial Police Unit of the Fiamme Gialle - also assumes the exchange vote against the regional councilor and 12 other people.
