Contract at risk, OSS protest in Cagliari: «We want the extension, we won't give up»

They don't give up on the idea that their contract might not be renewed . So the precarious workers of the Monserrato Polyclinic set up camp - in Via Roma in Cagliari - under the Health Department, to "affirm our right to work".
« We dispute the statements of councilor Doria , according to which it is not possible to extend our contracts due to lack of financial resources for fixed-term staff. Our lawyers, Renato Chiesa and Gianni Benevole, will dismantle these claims in the courts by asking the Judge to rule on our right to stabilization", the employees said in a note.
The group has only received small renewals over time. Hence the concern regarding future scenarios. And the decision to fight for a contract that now seems without the possibility of extensions.
