A new twist in the legal case of Juana Rivas, the mother from Maracena (Granada) already convicted of child abduction, after having refused in the summer of 2017 to hand over her children, at the time minors and on holiday in Spain, to their Italian father Francesco Arcuri, resident in Carloforte.

The lawyer Addolorata Marseglia, who represents the woman in Italy, has presented an urgent note to the Court of Appeal of Cagliari asking that the ex-couple's youngest son, aged 10, who arrived in Granada on 22 December to spend the Christmas holidays with his mother and older brother, remain in Spain because in Italy he would be "in a situation of serious risk".
