While the two engineers Cristina Onnis and Mauro Medici , consultants appointed by the Public Prosecutor's Office and by the four people who received the guarantee notice, are preparing, after a quick first review of the documents, to start the checks to reconstruct what happened in the added body of the Faculty of Languages of the University of Cagliari fell suddenly on Tuesday night , the acting prosecutor Paolo de Angelis and the substitute Giangiacomo Pilia are considering whether to widen the field of suspects to allow them, in the case, to participate in the analyzes.

A form of protection identical to that considered appropriate a few days ago, when the invitation to appear was notified to the highest authority of the University (the rector Francesco Mola) and to its other three managers (the general director Aldo Urru, the director and Antonella Sanna and Agostino Ciro Giuliano Zirulia, the director of the property and plant investment and maintenance sector) to allow them to actively participate in the checks.

The first step of the investigators and investigators will be to trace the companies that, over time, have carried out construction, maintenance and possible renovation of the two-level building that collapsed six days ago at around 9.45 pm when less than three hours had finished the 'last lesson. A search entrusted to the men of the Mobile Police Squad, who intervened immediately after the collapse together with the firefighters and supported in the investigation by the judicial police section of the ASL, Ispra and Spresal.

A search that does not promise simple , because the building was built in the sixties and was affected by various other interventions over the following decades. The latest, apparently, a few months ago.

Then eventually the positions of other figures within the University will be examined who, if so, may have had some role in those interventions.

But the result of the consultations will be decisive, which should arrive (in theory) in ninety days. That is the time requested by the professional appointed by the Prosecutor's Office. Provided that, given the complexity of the assignment, it is not necessary to ask for extensions that would lengthen the time.
