Extraordinary maintenance work has been postponed along the Coghinas 2 aqueduct line, which supplies raw water to the Abbanoa water treatment plant in Truncu Reale, serving Sassari, Porto Torres, and Stintino.

In these three centers, the interruptions that had been planned for today will not be implemented, while on Thursday, the work carried out by ENAS, the Sardinian water authority, will result in reduced supplies to the water treatment plants, partly supported by other supply sources.

Abbanoa has again implemented a distribution plan that takes into account reservoir reserves, procurement from alternative sources, and the recovery time needed to restore levels once drinking water production is restarted at the affected plants. The greatest disruption is expected in the Serra li Pozzi neighborhood in Porto Torres and in Alghero. However, there will be no interruptions in the neighborhoods supplied exclusively by the Truncu Reale plant in Sassari.
