City of Olbia literary competition: here are the finalists

The ninth edition of the City of Olbia Literary Award has reached its grand finale: the award ceremony will be held tomorrow (Friday 16 December) at 5 pm in the conference room of the archaeological museum in the presence of the jury and the finalists.

These are the finalist works among which the winners will be chosen tomorrow:

Short stories in Italian: “La luce di Teresa” by Alice Pigliapoco, Trecastelli; "The small library of Charleroi" by Rosario Vitale, Selvazzano Dentro; “Mariedda” by Pietrino Monni, Nuoro; "Eyes of wheat" by Federica Monni, Baunei.

Short stories in Gallurese and Logudorese: “Abilas” by Francesco Sotgiu, Oristano; “Intro on tempus suspesu” by Sebastiano Mario Fiori, Tortolì; “Maritzola” by Gonario Carta Pitcher, Dorgali.

Junior short stories: “A rainbow in the water” by Virginia Costi, Olbia; "A letter from my parachute" by Noemi Nocerino, Somma Vesuviana.

Poems in Gallura and Logudorese: "Bisos" by Gonario Carta Brocca, Dorgali; “Calicunu chi m'isetat” by Giangavino Vasco, Bortigali; “Cilcami” by Gianfranco Garrucciu, Tempio Pausania; “Lu me' fiori” by Andrea Columbano, Olbia; “Sa luna in burrutzone” by Basilio Carta, Sedilo; “Torra sos colores… A una rosa…” by Andrea Meleddu, Sorgono.

The jury is made up of Francesco Pala, professor of philosophy, former director of the philosophical journal "Giornale critico di storia delle idee", writer and essayist acting as President, Luana Scanu, trainer expert in creative writing and publishing, Quintino Mossa, president of the inter-municipal council of Gallura, Paolo Russu founding member of the inter-municipal council of Gallura and by Eliano Cau writer and poet:

Each of the first three classified in the sections "Short stories in Italian", "Short stories in Gallurese and Logudorese", "Junior short stories" and in the single section of poetry in Logudorese and Gallurese will be awarded the following prizes: 1st place: 500 euros; 2nd place: euro 300; 3rd place: euro 200. In addition, the winning stories and poems in the various sections will be contained in an anthological volume of the Prize published by the municipal administration. The City of Olbia Literary Award IX edition is created by the Municipality of Olbia with the contribution of the Region.
