Ciro Grillo, the mother of the girl who accuses him: "Slammed against the wall and raped, she told me"

In the late morning, in the courtroom of Tempio Pausania , the sixth hearing (the first in 2023) of the trial saw Ciro Grillo , Beppe's son, and three other Genoese friends of his, Francesco Corsiglia, Vittorio Lauria and Edward Capitta.

The boys, who are not present in the courtroom today, are accused of sexual assault and gang rape against a young Italian-Norwegian girl and her friend. Facts that for the Public Prosecutor's Office took place during the night between 16 and 17 July 2019 inside the terraced house owned by the Grillo family in Porto Cervo, on the Costa Smeralda.

In the closed-door trial, the testimony of the mother of the young Italian-Norwegian girl who told what happened to the girl starting from the days of her return to Milan immediately after the alleged rape.

"They threw me against the wall and raped me and finally I passed out," her daughter allegedly told her. And the mother added: « He was a different person , from that moment a tragic period began in which he was just a body that walked ». This is one of the key passages of the story in the courtroom, as reported by the lawyers of the injured parties.

The text messages that the mother and daughter exchanged from 18 July onwards are also being cross-examined , and which could provide useful information on the young woman's state of mind 24-48 hours after the alleged violence. The text messages, extrapolated from cell phones with the opening of the investigations, have already been recorded .

For the woman, a very painful testimony , followed by that of the girl's husband and father.

«It was an authentic testimony, never an uncertainty, full of suffering. We believe it could be of great relevance in the reconstruction of the case". Thus the lawyer Dario Romano , who protects the Italian-Norwegian girl, at the end of the story in the courtroom.

The deposition of the woman was eagerly awaited: it was she, in fact, a few days after the alleged violence, who accompanied her daughter to the Mangiagalli clinic in Milan for a visit. And the girl's mother said to the carabinieri of the Lombard capital that she had noticed profound changes in her daughter.

Counsel for the defendants objected to the alleged psychic trauma over time by showing photos of the girl at pool parties a few days after the alleged rape .

Today two childhood friends of the alleged victim should also have testified , with whom she used to confide and to them she would have told them everything about that night in July 2019 in the villa on the Costa Smeralda of the Grillo family. However, the court decided to postpone the hearings to the next hearing . The two witnesses thus left the courthouse to reach Olbia airport.

The trial was adjourned to March 8.
