Emanuele Ragnedda's consultants will enter the room in the Conca Entosa villa where Cinzia Pinna was shot and killed . This completely unexpected breakthrough in the investigation came after numerous requests from the Arzachena businessman's defense attorneys, criminal lawyers Luca Montella and Gabriele Satta.

Prosecutor Noemi Mancini has given the green light to a technical investigation, which will involve the medical examiner and Cagliari university professor Ernesto D'Aloja, and the ballistics expert and forensic scientist Dario Radaelli.

The content of the investigation and its timing are being kept strictly confidential, but according to rumors, Ragnedda's defense team has a specific goal: to call into question some crucial data provided by the RIS to prosecutor Mancini.

The initial, partial results of the ballistics analysis obtained by the Tempio Prosecutor's Office contradict Ragnedda on one crucial point. The man, in prison since September 24th, claims to have shot Cinzia Pinna after being attacked.

According to Ragnedda's reconstruction, the victim was holding a kitchen knife and coming toward him. According to prosecutor Mancini's consultants, however, Cinzia Pinna may have been shot while sitting on a couch, and the trajectory of the bullets (from top to bottom) would rule out a struggle with the woman facing Ragnedda.

The new technical assessment reopens the investigation at a very delicate stage , as Noemi Mancini's work nears its conclusion. Consultant Dario Radaelli is nationally renowned for his expert opinions in the cases of Garlasco, Yara Gambirasio, and the ISIS attacks in Europe, among others.
