ChatGPT passes the medical test: the University of Cagliari "promotes" artificial intelligence

She would have been admitted to Sapienza , remaining excluded in only five Italian universities. This is the result of a study conducted by the University of Cagliari with ChatGPT , the artificial intelligence that has depopulated since its launch last November.
Tested with the 2022 Medicine test , the chat achieved a score of 46.3 , enough to enter practically all universities, answering 60% of the questions correctly.
In particular, from the analysis of the scholars Marco Giunti, Roberto Giuntini, Giuseppe Sergioli, Simone Pinna and Fabrizia Giulia Garavaglia, high linguistic, syntactic and semantic skills emerged. There are still gaps on the side of logic but, the experts point out, "even in this area the performance remains surprising for an artificial intelligence".
