50% of Cagliari restaurants will offer a menu dedicated to Valentine's Day, with prices starting at 30 euros per person . This is what emerges from a survey by Fipe Confcommercio Sud Sardegna.
"The choice to spend in a restaurant for the day dedicated to lovers increases and consolidates over the years - says the president Emanuele Frongia - the expectations of restaurateurs this year are high if we consider the proximity to the weekend".
On this special day, therefore, alongside the traditional gifts of flowers, chocolates and jewellery, the restaurant confirms itself as a place of conviviality and sharing.
"Aware of this role - continues Frongia - many restaurateurs respond with creativity with exclusive menus and embellishment of their premises. The most popular formula is the "all-inclusive" menu with dishes with aphrodisiac ingredients, such as caviar and oysters for fish dishes, and with the prevalence of spices such as anise, nutmeg, chili pepper and saffron. The menu of this special day will also be distinguished by the dishes with red colors, which recall the sentiment protagonist of Valentine's Day: therefore make way for desserts with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, but also for appetizers of red tuna tartare, accompanied by rosé bubbles", concludes the president of Fipe Confcommercio Sud Sardegna.
