The Olia Speciosa market square, in the heart of Castiadas, has been more lively and colorful for a few days now thanks to the drawings of the kids from the Villaggio Carovana social cooperative. These special kids, along with middle school students, parents, and numerous other residents, have created murals on the walls.

The works were inaugurated on Tuesday by the boys themselves together with the painting teacher Giorgio Polo (project coordinator) and the mayor of Castiadas Eugenio Murgioni .

"These young people," the mayor emphasized, "represent a fundamental resource for our region. The Villaggio Carovana cooperative, in turn, is capable of supporting them, enhancing their skills, and making them feel like protagonists at every opportunity. A wonderful organization." The mayor was joined by Deputy Mayor Chantal Magro and Tourism Councilor Simona Demurtas. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the evening continued with a small party and refreshments.

The project, called "Spiccare il Volo," began in 2023 : every year, thanks to these special kids (and many volunteers), a wall in Castiadas is transformed into a shared story of relationships, dreams, and belonging. "In the coming days," Mayor Eugenio Murgioni concluded, "a new project will be presented that will continue this journey of growth and participation."
