Castiadas, ban on water consumption in the hamlet of Camisa

Temporary stop to the use of water supplied by the water network for human consumption in the hamlet of Camisa, in Castiadas. Mayor Eugenio Murgioni warned the population following the results of the ASL analyses on a sample taken, precisely, in Camisa.

In particular , the presence of Escherichia coli and coliform bacteria was detected . The water, until the parameters return to normal, cannot be used as a drink or for food preparation.

The water can instead be used for hygienic-sanitary purposes . "The water service manager Abbanoa has been informed", said the mayor of Castiadas, "and the immediate start of the necessary interventions to restore the quality of the water has been requested. Further updates will be promptly communicated to the citizens".
