The Castelsardo museum system is showing positive figures. Data collected from the MIM (Museum of Mediterranean Weaving) and the MOG (Museum of Genoese Origins), dedicated to the history of the City of the Dorias, confirm a more than positive start to the season. The numbers for the first few months of 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, which had already seen an increase, showed significant growth in admissions, with a 68% increase in March, partly due to Holy Week falling late in the calendar, and continued to grow in April, surpassing 10,000 visitors.

"This success is no coincidence," comments Tourism Councilor Giuseppe Rizzu, "but the fruit of a shared strategy that involves the entire region. The strengthening of our cultural programming and the targeted promotion of events have found a key partner in our hospitality industry. The professionalism of our tour operators, combined with the authentic beauty of our village, has created a quality offering capable of attracting an ever-increasing and increasingly discerning tourist flow, even outside of peak season."

We continue to work as a team and in synergy to grow the local economy. "However," adds Tirotto, "the hope is that a renewed international stability and the containment of travel costs will protect Sardinia's particularly vulnerable tourism potential. The quality of hospitality and the territorial planning already demonstrated remain our best defenses for ensuring a successful summer , despite external challenges."
