Tension erupted overnight in Nughedu Santa Vittoria, where a fire attacked the vegetation and came dangerously close to the village's homes.

Around a quarter to 1:00 PM, the Oristano fire department operations room received a call for help regarding a fire that had broken out on Via Mazzini. Given the proximity of the flames to residential areas, the rescue team responded quickly: a team from the Abbasanta headquarters and a support fire truck from the headquarters were dispatched to the scene.

Thanks to the coordinated intervention of the firefighters and the Barracelli company, the fire was stopped before it could reach the buildings at the entrance to the town.

The firefighting and safety operations were supported by the presence of law enforcement, who intervened to carry out surveys and manage traffic.
