Young people were the protagonists of the second evening of the "Genera Festival", currently taking place in Castelsardo. The evening was opened by the young students themselves, with a few reflections on the concept we have of today's kids, "generation Z who are always told to give up, who take refuge in microscopic earphones hidden between their ears".

The artists of Clip, an informal and performative literary collective, accompanied by the guitar of Daniele Palmas, performed readings focused on what revolves around the word generativity.

The young students participating in the "Genera Press 2023" laboratory, coming from various institutes (Liceo Ginnasio Canopoleno, Liceo Statale "Margherita di Castelvì", Liceo Scientifico e Linguistica di Castelsardo) exposed their personal concept of generativity, presenting the projects linked to the “Genera Press” project and the reportage created on the Asinara Island.

The three team leaders, Walter Pani, Giampaolo Cassitta and Alice Sassu, oversaw the workshops curated by the students: a job that started from the search for the person to interview, concluded with the post-production work.

The first “Genera Festival” prize was awarded by the jury to the students of the Canopoleno High School «capable of projecting themselves with their mind and eyes towards their future, maintaining constant full awareness of their origins». Recognition also goes to the other two institutes. «Everyone won», declared Giampaolo Cassitta.

The musical interludes were curated by the singers Enrica Virdis and Rita Penduzzu. The “Castellanesi in the world” section went to Agostino Codinas.
