Carbonia, the curse of the tilted street lamps: part of the city once again in darkness

It is a sort of curse for Carbonia : the heavy humidity is once again playing a bad joke on the city 's public lighting systems .

This time the consequences are the lampposts of the upper half of via Satta , via Piero Gobetti, the upper segment of via Lombardia, via Lazio, via Romagna, a stretch of via Cagliari and via Logudoro (the latter two are very important road axes ). These are some streets in the northern area of the city which have been in darkness since this evening.

The heavy moisture that infiltrated the electrical systems could be traced back to last night's rains . The blackout essentially in the Rosmarino district follows that of last week which had instead affected a large part of the southern area.

On that occasion, two drops of rain were enough to throw the system into a tailspin which, as the Municipality explains, presents significant criticalities under evaluation so that a rapid intervention can be triggered as soon as possible. In fact, the replacement of several systems is planned.
