Carbonia: sick at home, asks for help and the neighbors hear it

She fell ill and, considering her age, caused a suspected fracture of some ribs and injuries in other parts of her body. But she was alone in the house and in the end her requests for help were heard by some neighbors who only had to ask for the intervention of the firefighters and an ambulance of 118 without wasting time.

This was the rescue that took place this evening in Carbonia against a 90-year-old retired woman who was the victim of a domestic accident. Considering the impossibility of accessing the main door of the accommodation on the second floor of a building, the rescuers installed an external staircase and once a window was forced into the apartment, allowing a few moments later to the doctors and nurses of 118 to have free access to the house.

There is also a police patrol on the spot. The poor woman was accompanied to the Sirai hospital in Carbonia.
