The worrying conditions of an old house in the hamlet of Serbariu, a historic hamlet of Carbonia, made it necessary this morning to intervene by the firefighters of the detachment in via Roma upon notification of the residents.

In fact, from the house, presumably built about two centuries ago and still partly made of mud and straw bricks, there was the constant detachment of the tiles and pieces of plaster that inevitably ended up on the sidewalk, putting people's safety at risk. The concern was felt enough and the frequent requests (also from the neighborhood committee), until, in the face of the deterioration of the conditions of the old building, it was necessary to intervene by the specialized teams in the removal of the most dangerous parts.

During the operations, there is also a municipal police patrol for traffic coordination since the intervention area is located in an important transit route as one of the accesses from the villages of the lower Sulcis along the provincial road 78.
