In the year that has just ended, in the province of Oristano there was a decrease in crimes of 7.1% (2,238 against 2,408 in 2021). A trend that is not respected , however, for thefts , which actually increase by 5.4% and above all for drug seizures , which increase by 49% .

On the drug front there were 27 arrests , of which 25 in flagrante delicto and 2 in execution of provisions issued by the judiciary. 80 people were reported and another 81 people were reported to the Prefecture as employers. The decrease in computer fraud was also significant ( -12.4% ).

"We are the quietest province of Italy according to the classification of the Sun 24 hours - said Colonel Erasmo Fontana at the head of the provincial command of Oristano in the press conference to present the data -. Not only have the crimes decreased but the preventive and repressive action of the same crimes has increased . We are very satisfied with this trend in a reality where there is the possibility of working well and not lowering the level of preventive action in particular".
