Car-scooter crash in Sant'Antioco: dead after hospitalization

The motorcyclist involved in a road accident last night in Sant'Antioco did not make it.
The motorcyclist, Gianni Calabrò, 51 years old, was involved in the violent crash against a car, in via Fra' Ignazio da Laconi , while he was on board his scooter. Thrown onto the asphalt, he was transported by the 118 operators in red code to Sirai in Carbonia, where he died during the night .
Calabrò arrived at the hospital in very serious conditions, with numerous injuries all over his body, in particular a serious head trauma . The doctors' attempts at resuscitation were useless. According to the reconstruction, the 51-year-old was transported to Sirai to be stabilized, in view of a possible transfer to Brotzu in Cagliari, which however never happened.
