Capaci 30 years later, in San Teodoro a conference with the agents of Giovanni Falcone's escort

A day of remembrance, culture of legality and inclusion. This and much more tomorrow in San Teodoro for the event "Capaci, beyond 30 years later" organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the comprehensive school and the Speedy sport association.

The day's program will open at 9.30 at the La Cupola theater with a conference in memory of the Capaci massacre , in which Giovanni Falcone, his wife Francesca Morvillo and three members of the escort lost their lives. The agents of Giovanni Falcone's car escort - Luciano Tirindelli and the chief escort Giuseppe Sammarco - will meet the students of the San Teodoro school and the citizens to remind - especially to the new generations - the recent history of our country and to promote the importance of the culture of legality and anti-mafia memory, a direct testimony of those who lived through the hell of Capaci on May 23, 1992.

The morning will continue with the inauguration of the "Wall of legality" , the commemorative mural created outside the school where the magistrates Giovanni Falcone, Paolo Borsellino and Emanuela Loi from Cagliari are depicted, the first female agent of the State Police to stay killed in escort service.

It will be the boys and educators of the territorial educational service who will finish the painting which represents the culmination of a project started on 24 April last and which saw the little Teodorini protagonists of all phases : from the conception of the sketch, to the drafting on the wall, until the realization of the mural.

Finally, the afternoon will be dedicated to the theme of inclusiveness. From 3.30 pm everyone at the municipal sports field for the event "The rules of the game: everyone in the game for inclusion", organized by the ASD Speedysport association, which for years has been carrying out projects for young people with disabilities and promoting sport as a means to help boost individual self-esteem. The event will involve the students of the comprehensive school of San Teodoro who, together with the athletes of Speedy sport, will compete in a multidisciplinary volleyball, football and athletics tournament.
