Emergency services responded to a 15-year-old Spanish boy in Cala Sa Figu, Muravera, after he was stung in the face by a weever fish, commonly known as a spider fish (aragna in Sardinia).
The Villasimius ambulance arrived on site to provide first aid to the victim, who was in pain from the poison released by the fish.

The air ambulance was then also involved for emergency transport to the Muravera emergency room.
