For the ordinance on the limited number we will have to wait for 2024 , but in the meantime the Prefect of Nuoro, Giancarlo Dionisi, is taking steps to regulate attendance in Cala Luna , in the Gulf of Orosei. The beach, which is usually overrun by tourists in the month of August, will not be able to accommodate more than four or five hundred people .

The circular will be issued in the coming days, and will represent a compromise with respect to the ordinance that the mayor of Dorgali, Angela Testone , would have liked to deliver to the citizens for the period from 1 August to 15 September. An announcement, that of the first citizen, which had sparked controversy and "pressure suffered bordering on threats".

In particular, the maritime carriers had opposed the provision. In fact, the site can only be reached by sea or via a long path, and there were fears of a sharp reduction in the number of tickets. Not only that, because the debate had also continued with the mayor of Baunei (this municipality also has jurisdiction over the beach) who claimed a shared provision.

In October all the parties will sit down at a table to find the right balance in view of summer 2024, but in the meantime the Prefecture will regulate access.
