Problems with the water distribution network in several neighborhoods of Cagliari.

In a statement, Abbanoa explains: "During the night, the remote control system reported a failure to recover water levels in the San Vincenzo reservoirs in Cagliari, which supply the city's mid-to-higher areas . An investigation was immediately launched into the fault, which may have been caused by a blocked gate valve that regulates the water coming from the main pipeline."

"Repair work is now underway," Abbanoa continues, "to restore water supply to the San Vincenzo reservoirs. At the same time, Abbanoa teams are carrying out compensation maneuvers on the city network to increase the amount of water supplied by the San Michele and Monte Urpinu reservoirs."

Furthermore: "During Friday morning, water supply to users served by the San Vincenzo reservoirs (the mid-to-upper areas of the city and in particular Castello, the upper part of Marina, and the Via dei Punici area) will be gradually restored."
