Caught while trying to force a car door in viale Buoncammino, in Cagliari. The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section arrested a 57-year-old man, already known to the police, in flagrante delicto for attempted theft and damage. The man, of no fixed address, was seen by the military while trying to open a BMW X3, parked on the corner of Viale Sant'Ignazio da Laconi and Via San Nicola.
The Carabinieri intervened following a report from some passers-by. It emerged that the man had also previously damaged the right front window of a Jeep Renegade and the left rear-view mirror of a Renault Clio, nearby.
The owners of the vehicles, residing in various locations in Sardinia, have formalized complaints with the competent authorities.
